Anglian Security & Fire Ltd is the new name for Anglian Burglar Alarms Ltd which was itself founded in 1981 by the current owners to install and maintain burglar alarms into domestic, and commercial properties in Ipswich, Colchester, Bury St. Edmunds, and all across East Anglia.
At a time when security concerns were not as prevalent and crime statistics were much lower than today we rapidly became one of the leading names in our industry, and the name for security systems in Ipswich, Colchester and Bury. Anglian Security & Fire gained NSCIA (now NACOSS) accreditation which allowed us to install security systems in Ipswich and Suffolk connected directly to the Police authorities and ensured that our security systems met the relevant British Standards.
Almost 30 years on and having developed a large and loyal database of clients for whom we have installed security systems, we decided on the name change to better illustrate what it is we do - we are a complete security systems provider. Although intruder (burglar) alarms remain at the core of our business, fire alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems full security systems continue to be growth areas for us which are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards that our clients have come to expect over the years.
Anglian Security & Fire consider staff retention to provide a good indication as to how well an organisation operates and our team of engineers have been with us for a number of years. Our trainee engineer’s are subject to a rigorous training program and are fully supervised on site for a minimum of two years before finally working on their own.
Anglian Security & Fire are a NACOSS Gold company which is arguably the most widely recognised, and considered the highest level of accreditation that can be achieved by a security systems provider.
